These two special dogs (otherwise known as "The Pubbies") have added so much to our lives and our home. 

Not only are they constant companions and often a source of comic relief around here, they are great in helping socializing kittens.

Desi is a Tri-color Female Sheltie, born June 27, 2003.

Sire: Am/Can Ch Darmil Tuscarora x Virgo Pearl Jamm

She came to us as a 9 week old puppy from Denian Shelties in Northern Illinois.

Desi (aka Do-do, Pup, or Pubbie) is definitely the boss around here and keeper of the peace. 

She does sometimes feel the need to herd that cats and they do listen to her! LOL! 

She is loving, cute and silly but don't lavish too much love on her or you'll get the "OK, that's enough" look. :-)

Ty is a Sable & White Male Sheltie, born approx. December 7, 2004.

Ty came to us through Sheltie Rescue of Central Indiana. 

Ty (aka Phoon - as in Typhoon or Buffoon) definitely comes in as the bratty,

pain in the booty little brother who can never just leave his big sister alone!  He is just a big kid

who always wants to play, doesn't have a mean bone in his body and doesn't mind getting his

share of love and will take any extra Desi doesn't want.  LOL!  He is Jim Carrey in dog form!
